The Installation for Linux

There are three different installation options for the Linux based operating systems. The installation packages are available as debian ( .deb ), rpm and snap packaging system. The debian packages can be used on debian and ubuntu based distros. In addition, rpm packages can be used on Fedora, Redhat and Suse Linux. The snap packaging system is more universal packaging system and it can be used commanly for many linux distros.

Snap installation

The snap installation is another option for pcynlitx platform. In order to install the snap package of the pcynlitx platform, the snap application must be installed to the Linux distro. In every ubuntu distro, snap is a default application. You can manuelly install the snap application to the other distros. For installation, the directives given on the snapcraft project official web site can be followed.

After the installation of the snap application, you can directly install the snap package of the pcynlitx platform using the following command.

sudo snap install pcynlitx
